The Paleispark is adjacent to Paleis Het Loo and used to serve as a place to relax for members of the royal family and their guests. It is a large area, 650 hectares. You will find forest, heath, ponds, a deer park and several other sights. The fact that the Oranges used to spend a large part of their time here is clearly visible in the Park. You regularly come across hidden benches, you walk along Koningslaan, bridges have been built over them and there are buildings that used to (and sometimes still have) a function for the royal family. You feel in everything that it is not just a forest, but a royal forest.
